Hallway tales

In the whispers of the hallway, where secrets softly tread,
I see you in the morning light, a dream inside my head.
Your laughter is a melody, a song I long to hear,
Each moment spent beside you, I hold forever dear.

Beneath the ancient oak tree, where shadows gently play,
We carve our names into the bark, where time can’t take away.
With every glance you send my way, my heart begins to soar,
For in your eyes, I find a world I’ve never known before.

The classroom holds a magic, in notes we subtly pass,
A language of our own design, where fleeting moments last.
We share a stolen smile, as teachers turn their eyes,
And in that brief connection, our love forever lies.

The school bell rings its final call, the day comes to an end,
Yet in my thoughts and dreams at night, you’re more than just a friend.
For though the years may carry us to places far apart,
I’ll always keep a piece of you, locked deep within my heart.

So here’s to schoolyard romance, in every note and glance,
A love that blossoms quietly, a tender, sweet romance.
In the hallways and the classrooms, where young hearts find their way,
We’ll cherish every moment, forever and a day.
